A New Year

I was doing my usual morning time wasters on Facebook today. Procrastinating really. I find it so much harder to focus of late here at home. Not that I’m uncomfortable or unhappy here, just distracted. Home is nice, home is fun, home has all the BEST toys….
It also has the two most wonderful people in the world that I know of in it, Dan and Marcus. And truth be told, as much as I love writing, I love being with them more. So I spend time on things like flash games that I feel like I can drop easily when it’s time to focus on them rather than drawn out projects that I have extracting myself from such as good books and my stories.
Still, I saw this on the Down the Writer’s Path blog page at Facebook and just had to peek. And then of course, I had to sign up. For me, I tend to read at least a book a week, often more than one, so the challenge is a bit lots. Still I like the idea. And nothing says one cannot exceed the limits. It just means that is a minimum goal.
Kind of like exercise. Now there is a place I really need to resolve something.
