A Garden of Delights

A Change of Pace — Poetry

Posted on: February 13, 2014

Normally I don’t post here the way I probably should, but the sweet Julie Jordan Scott is  running a mini poetry challenge this week, and I felt I needed to join in. The words …want.

So here is my short poem (no form used) for Day 1 of the February Mini-Challenge of Poets on the Page:

Post
seeing placement,
empty,
red from the effort
of standing by,
waiting
as so many have passed

Image and linky to join up are on the Mini-Challenge page.

much said in few words.. liked it!:)

There’s a real sense of frustration here…red from the effort of standing by…yes, love that description of rust…and all the people going by….I want to make them stop, pay attention, leave a note. 🙂

Thanks, Anna. And thank you, for leaving a note.
